A New Beginning for Breakfast

While at AWDT, Breakfast made incredible strides. He is exceptional with his basic obedience and his leash reactivity greatly diminished. He was able to integrate into our pack with minimal issue.

Since returning home, his owners have continued to work with him, but some of his leash reactivity has creeped back into his behavior pattern. This isn't something that happens often, but occasionally old habits in old environments die a little harder than others.

This isn't for lack of effort on the owner's part - his owner is one of the most dedicated out there - however, she has been transferred from her current job and where she is going, Breakfast is not allowed to follow.

AWDT would love for a capable handler to step up and finish the work that we have all started! Breakfast deserves a happy and healthy life with another family who will love him and work through any remaining issues he may still struggle with.

Breakfast is a fun dog who loves to train and loves people. We will offer training support to anyone who is willing to take him in and help with his next, and hopefully last, new beginning.

Breakfast also has his own instagram hash tag that we would love to see continued: #itsmebreakfast
One of Andrew Warner Dog Training's favorite clients is having to move to a new town where their beloved dog, unfortunately, cannot follow.

Some of you may remember Breakfast from the blog - he did a two week board and train here for his leash reactivity and lack of social skills with other dogs. Check him out hanging in a busy dog grooming facility:
